A cidade de Ipanguaçu se mantém no centro das atenções. A Câmara Municipal de Vereadores reprovou na noite desta quarta-feira, 16, as contas do ex-prefeito Leonardo Oliveira (PT), referente à gestão de 2012.
Mesmo com o placar favorável ao ex-prefeito por 6 x 4 para rejeitar o parecer do Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, ele teve as contas reprovadas, já que eram necessários dois terços dos votos, equivalente a 8 votos na câmara.
A sessão foi marcada por ânimos exaltados. O vereador Fônseca (PP) teve seu pedido de vista sobre a matéria recusado e chegou a chamar o vereador Batista Bertoldo (PSB) de ditador após ele refutar sua solicitação. O vereador Júnior Alcântara (SD) foi o último a votar e foi contrário ao parecer, justificando que a decisão da câmara era política.
O clima intenso na Câmara de Vereadores de Ipanguaçu segue também nesta quinta-feira (17). Pela noite, haverá a solenidade de posse do Presidente da casa, Jefferson Santos, como o novo Prefeito do município, substituindo Valderedo Bertoldo que foi afastado do cargo por decisão do Tribunal Regional Eleitoral (TRE).
