No último domingo, 15/03/2020, aconteceu a Tradicional Cavalgada de São José, na Comunidade de Linda Flor. São José, carpinteiro de profissão, é o pai de Jesus Cristo e marido de Maria. É considerado o Patrono da Igreja.
A Cavalgada que teve início por volta das 8:30h, culminou com um grande almoço e muito forró! Um belíssimo evento que reuniu muitas pessoas, lotando a quadra de esportes da comunidade. Na oportunidade, aconteceu também o leilão da festa. A programação sócio-cultural, contou com a presença de vários representantes da política da cidade do Assu e lideranças de toda a várzea.
Observamos e, a público, estamos a relatar alguns acontecimentos dentro evento. De acordo com informações obtidas, um participante fiel da festa nos relatou o seguinte: “Uma cavalgada que só tem a crescer, infelizmente nos deixou triste esse ano, devido a desorganização e abuso de poder.” A cavalgada de São José deste ano, contou com motivos que podem afetar diretamente nos resultados das próximas.
